With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deweese Callahan (Hixson, Tennessee), who passed away on May 11, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Darl Callahan; her daughter Hannah Oldaker; her parents, Cenia Armstrong and John Armstrong; and her sister Sally King.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Shannon (Terry) and Connie Davis (Rick); her grandchildren, Tyler Shannon (Amy), Carrie Hodges (Mike) and Casey Conley (Megan); and her brother Gordon Armstrong. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hixson First Baptist Church, 5800 Grubb Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
