He is survived by: his wife Mary Evans; his sons, Richard Evans, Christian Evans and Joshua Evans; his grandchildren, Shai Markum and Lucus Evans; and his sisters, Glenda Veal and Jean Ford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
