He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Patten and Clarence Patten Sr.; and his siblings, Lou Townsend, Bettye Mae Burch and Patrick Patten.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Patten; his son Webb Patten (Teresa); and his sister Patricia Rushing.
