With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Albert Massengale of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Hale Massengale; his son Charles L. Massengale; and his grandson Charles L Massengale, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Jane Cline (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“...jane and larry...our thoughts are with you today as you remember your dad...we remember him with you : his integrity, his sweet nature, his kindness, which he showed many times to my mom and dad (jack and edna).....mom says to tell you how much she loved your dad...he was such a true friend and gentleman...the way he helped mom in and out of her chair at meals was above and beyond the call of duty!...she says he even cheered her up one day with a song : "God will take care of you"....prayers!”
