In the vast expanse of eternity, Burke shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Burke farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Combs and Louise Combs; and his wife Charlotte Combs. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Sims (Steve), Deena Filipczak (Tom) and Linke Combs (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Haley Sims Sproul (Ben), Sean Sims (Lacey), Jarrod Combs, David Filipczak and Elijah Pate (Jenn). He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
