She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Lane Sr.; her parents, Pearle Slatten and Alvy Slatten; and her siblings, Jenny Slatten, Alvy Slatten and Dr. Will Slatten.
She is survived by: her son Charles Edward Lane Jr. (Kathy); her grandson Charles Edward Lane III; her siblings, Mary DesDemona DeVille (Charlie) and Tommy Slatten (Susan); and her close friend Theresa Reagan (Robert).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
