She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell E. Houchins; her son Shawn Houchins; and her parents, Thomas Driver and Willie Bates Driver. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Ellen Houchins; and her grandchildren, Christian Byrd, Parris Houchins (Pearl Shipley) and Kaleigh Houchins.
