It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Eugene Butler of Hixson, Tennessee, born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farris Butler and Maebell Long Butler; and his siblings, W. C. Butler, Douglas Butler, Brenda Snow and Janice Kuykendall.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Butler; his children, Greg Butler (Abby) and Alisha Bledsoe (Sam); his grandchildren, Madison Butler, Taylor Bledsoe, Cailyn Butler, Sawyer Bledsoe, Carter Bledsoe and Gracen Butler; his former spouses, Diedra Dolejs (Bob), David Butler and Debra Chism (David); his grandchildren, Travis Dolejs, Monika Lelise, Garrett Butler, Daniel Chism, Adam Chism and Margaret Butler; and his siblings, Frances Ferguson, Lavell Butler and Tim Butler (Teresa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
