He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Christian and Mary Louise Owens Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rocke Lanier; his daughter Grace Branum (John); his brother Thomas Young Lanier (Jan); his niece Elizabeth Statler; and his nephew Lawrence Lanier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
