He is survived by: his wife Reba Johnson Hewell; his children, Michael Thomas Hewell (Donna) of Smithville, TN and Tammy Joyce Shelnutt (Joe) of Covington, GA; his grandchildren, Amber Lovelace (Johnny), Tyler Looper (Chelsea), Michael Shelnutt (Diana), Ashley Lickliter (Chris), Lee Shelnutt (Alexandrea) and Steven Tidrick (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Walker, Lincoln, Oliver, Franklynn, Charlie and Tate; and his siblings, William Ted Hewell (Brenda) and Charlotte Denise Hewell. He is also survived by extended family members and a host of friends.
