He is survived by: his son Brandon Richardson (Britney); his stepdaughter Brittany Smith; his mother Ruth Owens (Annette Beets); his grandchildren, Cadence and Bailey; and his brother Bobby Richardson.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Chapel Cross-Smith Funeral Home (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Powell Valley Cemetery (206 Henson Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766).
