He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Lois Carter Green and Leo Freeman Green; his wife Verna Sue Yates Green; and his parents-in-law, Norma Moore Yates and Rufus Vernon Yates.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Broadwell (Ken) of Ooltewah and Dale Green (Jennifer) of Hillsboro; his granddaughters, Amanda Grove (Jake) of Ooltewah and Nicole Waggoner Green of Hillsboro; his great grandchildren, Emmalee Grove, Jackson Grove, Della Grove, Raylynn Grove and Hunter Horton; and his sisters, Brenda Green Nichols and Deborah Green Cunningham. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
