He was predeceased by: his daughter Megan Alexandria Dale; his father Earl Ray Dale; his uncle Bobby Dale; and his aunt Reba Gaw. He is survived by: his mother Alberta Ann Dale (Dixon); his wife Barbara Ann Dale; his children, Jacob Dale (Kelly), Andrew Dale, Matthew Dale (Vanessa), William Nathan Dale (Lauren) and April Looper (Chris); his siblings, David Dale (Patty) and Rebekah Glazier (Brian); his uncle Alton Dixon; his aunt Ruth Dale; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden Dale, Ashlyn, Gracelyn Dale, Kingston, Drew Dale, Mercy, Harrison Dale, Jonathan and Will Looper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of gifts and flowers, the family requests donations to be made at any First National Bank of Tennessee office to the "Nathan Dale to the benefit of Jack Dale memorial" account. These donations will be used towards a memorial fund for supplies for students of the Building Construction Technology Program at TCAT.
