It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Trevathan-Hooten of Hilham, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oval F. Hooten and Mildred Stafford Hooten; her former husband Dewitt Watwood; her husband Arnold D. Trevathan; her granddaughter Megan Trevathan; and her siblings, Joe Thomas Hooten and Carrie Frances Hooten.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Trevathan of Michigan, Brent Trevathan of Michigan, Vincent Trevathan of Michigan, Joe Trevathan of Hilham and Arnold R. Trevathan of Hilham; her siblings, Jack Hooten of Hilham and Melba Keller of Cookeville; her grandchildren, Kelly Trevathan, Joseph Trevathan, Brandi Trevathan, Brent Trevathan, Austin Trevathan, Savannah, Ashley Trevathan, Autum Trevathan, Sierra Trevathan, Jess Ica, Jared Trevathan, Samantha Trevathan and John Trevathan; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Kelsey Oconner, Colby Trevathan, Hailey Trevathan, Cody Trevathan, Arionna Trevathan, Abigale Reardon, Nora Michelle Trevathan, Juliett, Emma, Kaiden Kent, Avery Korte, Declan Kortea and Ezra Harris.
