It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bessie Edna Russell of Hickory Withe, Tennessee, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maylon Bennett Smith and Sylvia Pattat Smith; and her husband Richard "Donn" Russell. She is survived by: her sister Betty Jean Price; her sons, Dick Russell (Irene), Mike Russell (Tracey) and Charlie Russell (Jeannie); and her caregivers, Doris Lee and Charlotte Maclin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6+ great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Russell family wishes that you donate to the charity closest to your heart, in memory of Mrs. Russell. Some of her favorites were Hickory Withe Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, St. Jude and the American Heart Association.
