He was predeceased by : his parents, Carter E. Morefield and Cora Bell White Morefield; his daughter Lori Yvonne Morefield; and his brothers, Bobby Ray Morefield and Thomas Edward Morefield.

He is survived by : his daughter Sharon Daley (Eugene); his brother Owen Page Lyle; and his grandsons, Bryan Baggett and William Barr.
