He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Marshall Chandler and Hattie Gordon Chandler; his wife Wilma Joyce Chandler; his son Weldon Chandler; and his brother Howard Chandler.

He is survived by: his sons, Everette Chandler of Bon Aqua, Doug Chandler of Pinewood and Delbert Chandler of Michigan; his sisters, Margaret Clark of Lyles, Faye Sampson of Michigan and Jennette Ballard of Texas; and his grandchild Many. He is also survived by Many Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
