It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Xeno Grady Whitmore of Hermitage, Tennessee, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dave and Zadie England; his parents, Grady Whitmore and Ruth Whitmore; and his siblings, Yvonne Whitmore, Leola Garland and Edward Whitmore.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Rutherford Whitmore; his son Frank Whitmore; his adoptive son Scott Thompson of Daytona Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Sabrina Thompson of Clinton, TN and Alexander Thompson of Knoxville, TN; his brother David; his sister-in-law Joanna Whitmore of Maryville, TN; his brother Glen Whitmore of Mascot, TN.; and his close friend Doug Tooley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
