He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Underwood Arnold; his parents, Stonewall Jackson and Mamie Arnold; and his brothers, Clyde Arnold, Melvin Arnold and Lee Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Ray J. Arnold, William L. Arnold (Toddy) and Diane Ingram (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Melissa Arnold Baker, Kevin Ray Arnold (Charlotte), Bobby Arnold Ingram (Dana), Christopher Jackson Arnold (Colleen) and Cassidy Brown (Steven). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
