He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Maddox Rehm; his sons, Mark Eric Rehm and Carl Merrill Rehm; his parents, William Houston and Ethel Harrington Rehm; and his siblings, Glenn Edward Rehm, Houston Wayne Rehm, Louise Rehm Smith, Alice Marilyn Rehm, Nell Rehm Moots and Helen Claire Rehm.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Rehm Smith (Scott); his grandchildren, Jessica Lauren Smith and Bennett Scott Smith (Amethyst); and his great grandchild Lincoln Scott Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
