He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy Sproat Morton; his sons, Bill Morton, III (Melinda) of Fairview and Jacob Morton of Hermitage; his siblings, Roy Morton (Wynette) of South Pittsburg and Julie Wynn of Jonesboro, GA; and his granddaughter Mallory Morton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
