She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Goins; her parents, Luke Burton and Dorothy Lee Burton (Estes); and her grandson Hayden Lee Goins. She is survived by: her sons, William P. Goins, Jr. (Angie) and David L. Goins (Mindy); her grandchildren, Calla, Neylan and Dalton; her stepgrandchildren, Sasha, Cheyenne, Logan and Jade; and her sister Jean Owen of Olive Branch, MS..
In lieu of flowers, it was Shirley's request that donations be made to The Tennessee Children's Home, 804 Branham Hughes Cir, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
