He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Leta Terry; his son Phillip Terry; his grandson Sean McSwain; and his siblings, Ernest Terry, Florence Nickley and Helen Snow.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl McSwain (Gary); his grandchildren, Anthony Frye and Ryan McSwain; his great grandchildren, Dominic Frye, Madison Claire, Ryan Sean Michael, Caroline Grace and Isaac Steven McSwain; and his friend Ray Henderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
