He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wilson and Ella Lee Wilson; his wife Clara Jean Wilson; his grandson Jack Holt Jr.; and his brothers, Raymond Wilson, Paul Lee Wilson and Lonnie Edward Wilson.

He is survived by: his sister Lucille Vaughn (Bobby Joe); his granddaughter Diana Holt; his great grandchildren, Daisy, Matthew, Jeremy and Peyton; and his stepson Denny Holt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
