He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis Sydlo and Cecelia Mary Kubitsky; his grandparents, Ignatius, Anna Sydlo, Frank and Pauline Kubitsky; and his uncle Thomas Sydlo.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sydlo; his children, Joseph J. Sydlo, Celina A. Sydlo Torphy (Jamison) and Benjamin A. Sydlo; and his cousin Joseph Bagnata.
