It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McKinney in Hermitage, Tennessee, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Mack" McKinney and Mildred Jones McKinney; his siblings, Ed (Betty) and Mildred "Middy" McGhee (Johnny); his brother-in-law Ted; and his nephew John A. "Buzz" McGhee II.
He is survived by: his sons, Guy McKinney (Joi) and Brad McKinney (Peggy); the mother of his children Barbara Guy McKinney Rhoads; his siblings, James P. McKinney (Connie) and Nancy Mitchell; his grandsons, Travis, Matthew (Guy), Dakota, Lucas and Beau; his nieces and nephews, Garland, Greg, Scott, Brian, Chad, Debbie, Pam and Glenda; and his grandson Keaton McKinney.
