He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Brinkley and Mary Shearron Brinkley; and his siblings, Samuel Brinkley and Lona May. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Bannister Brinkley, Melonie Brinkley and Monica O'Neill (Jason); his grandchildren, Jimbo Bannister, Dustin Bruce, Eric Oldham, Anastasia O'Neil and Victoria O'Neill; and his great grandchildren, Courtney Bannister, Hailey Oldham, Lianna Bruce and Nola Bruce.
