We bid farewell to Janice W. Slaughter of Hermitage, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 17, 2024 at the age of 84. In the sacred silence of farewell, Janice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Whitley and John D. Whitley; and her brother John Beverly Whitley. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Fry and Karen Weldes Fry; and her brother Ray Whitley. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (525 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
