He was predeceased by: his father Reece B. Martin; and his parents-in-law, George Ewin III and Brenda Ewin. He is survived by: his mother Anita Lyles; his wife Veronica Martin; his daughter Jessica Lynn Martin; his brother Robert Lawrence "Chip" Martin (Annette); his siblings-in-law, Timmy Fowler (Kay), Kim Sawyers (Bryan) and Norma Ford; and his niece Allison Martin (Will).
