He is survived by: his children, Richard, Gary Dougherty and Carolyn Silvey; his sisters, Betty Nickles and Bobbie Lane; his grandchildren, Tina Terrell, Darrell Collins Jr., Samantha Grande, Sandy Dougherty McKinney, Ronald Martin Jones, Angela Jones, Dustin Collins and Steven Jones; and his close friend Hilda Cobb. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
