He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Sweetman and Margeret Sweetman; and his brother Thomas Sweetman. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sweetman; his children, Patrick Sweetman (Katie) and Susan Keough; his stepchildren, Mark Meyer and Mary Katherine Brummett (Andy); his grandchildren, Audrey Keough, Amber Keough, Ellen Meyer, Anna Riley Meyer, Samantha Sheler (Dallas), Savannah Brummett and Addison Brummet; and his siblings, Robert Sweetman, James Sweetman (Kim) and Donna Hatzl (Dan).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tennessee Central Railway Museum or Hermitage Presbyterian Church in Hank's honor.
