With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen G Anderson of Hermitage, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hogan Gardner and Everette Gray Gardner; her husband James Anderson; her son Curtis Anderson; and her siblings, Ruby Fox, Blanche Hawkins, Rev. Jacob Gardner and Carl Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Gibson (Greg) and Donald Anderson; her daughter-in-law Barbara Anderson; her grandchildren, Ben Gibson (Britney), Rosemary Hamsley (Cameran), Alyssa Hansen (Brandon), Kristine Lyon (James), Katie Peacock (Gregory), Mary Chambers (James) and Michael Anderson (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, James Gibson, Ezra, Thea Hansen, Aubrey Lyon, Monica, Jacob Peacock, Joseph and Matthew Chambers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Alive Hospice, organizations that were close to Helen's heart.
