He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Wilkerson Davis and Jesse Daniels. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Hrobowski (Yancey); and his grandchildren, Ishmael, Sofia and Ella.

He was an integral member of the organ donation efforts in Nashville.
