She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelaide Atkins Leonard and Eugene Dwight Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Bobby "Pete" Dee Sasser; her daughters, Dee Sasser Burleson (Scott) and Celeste Elizabeth Ortega; and her grandchildren, Adriana Elizabeth Ortega and Jorgé Enrique Ortega.
