She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ruzek and Mildred Ruzek (Bartos); her daughter Tammy Powell (Edward Schmidt) of Leukemia; her sister Carol Bittner; her grandmother Mary Braunzosky; her aunt Marie; her uncle Dick; and her cousin Alan Rauschenberg.

She is survived by: her sister Linda Epich (Richard) of Sabula; her stepson Mark Schmidt of Abrams; her niece Dawn Wulf; her nephew Keith Dittmer; her cousin Wayne Rauschenberg; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carollynn, Tali, Aaron, Tyler, Mackenna, Presley and Grace; and also Evelyn Diane.
