He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oder Ray Meador and Angie Lee Shrum Meador; his wife Cecilia Davis Meador; his children, Terry Allen Meador, Gary Meador (Tina), Tonja Reid and Sonia Kaye Meador; his stepsons, Michael Glenn Spangenberg and Timothy Allen Spangenberg; his siblings, Geraldine Taylor (Ray), Nancy Hopkins (Don), Barbara Moniz, Judy Carter (Rodney), Larry Ray Meador (Monica) and Jerry Meador (Jean); and his grandchildren, Brandon Reid, Maryann Reid, Adam Meador and Bradley Meador. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homes for Heros or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
