He is survived by : his children, Gloria Victory (Frank) of LaVergne, Mellanie "Beth" Arndt (Alex) of Mt. Juliet and Robert "Rob" Goad, Jr. (Donna) of Watertown; and his brother Larry Ballard of North Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
