He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Latta, Sr. and Beatrice Lloyd Latta; and his brothers, Joseph Edward Latta, Jr. and James Buchanan Latta. He is survived by: his wife Pattie Latta; his children, Mike Latta (Elaine) and Vicki Primm (Mike); his sisters, Janet Goodson (Keith) and Doris Pillow; and his grandchildren, Matthew Latta (Mandy), Melisa Farrow (Sam), Melinda Mullis (Derrell), Bailey Ziegler (Sterling) and Scott Primm (Rachel). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
