He was predeceased by: his parents, Lura Mae Robertson (McCord) and Luther Allman Robertson; and his siblings, Don Robertson, Louise Murdock and Hazel Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Robertson (Overton); his children, Ellen Gonzales (Speedy) of Dripping Springs, TX, Larry W. Robertson (Susan) of Donelson, TN, Carolyn Cummings of Hermitage, TN and Brian E. Robertson (Amy) of Lebanon, TN; his grandchildren, Elayna Villalobos (Cory) and Samuel Robertson; his great grandchildren, Alex, Davey, Liam and Rosana; and his siblings, Lura Mae Pickney (Jim), Jeanette Roberts (Allen), Phyllis Spicer, Luther Robertson (Vickie), Dale Robertson and Terry Robertson (Vickie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
