He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Taylor and Lovie Johnson; and his sister Beatrice. He is survived by: his wife Michelle; his son Steven Brazil; his stepchildren, Michael and Tina; his aunt Annie; his sisters, Tommie and Gloria; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Jr., Alonzo Jr, Terrell, John, Jamarr, Zacchaeus, Twyla, Leticia, Krystal, LaJoya, Tasha and Vennie. He is also survived by other great nieces, and great nephews, cousins and friends.
