He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Smith and Vunie Baker Smith; his wife Barbara Smith; his daughter Donna Smith; and his siblings, Madge Jackson, Jean Snyder Hart, Fredda Anderson, Carter Smith, Tommy Smith and Elroy Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Snow of Paris and Harlon "Hal" Smith.
