She was predeceased by: her father Bill; her husband George Puckett; her stepson Reynaldo Milton; and her siblings, Joe Wesley Melton, Bobby Slaten, Joe Slaten, Jimmy Ray Melton, Sr., Roger Lyn Melton, Paul Melton, Dorothy McKinney, Jewel Menzies and Nell Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Dossie Ray Melton, Maryrose Jeanette Crawford (Paul) and Jerry Paul Melton; her stepdaughter Brenda Springfield (Jamie); her siblings, Sarah Melton, Patricia Seats, Alice Parker, Marilyn Buckley, Thomas Melton, Roger Dale Melton (Linda) and Ellis Ray Melton; and her siblings-in-law, Andrew Martin (Michelle), Louise Steward (Orther) and Daisy Melton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
