He is survived by: his wife Carla Whitehorn Smith; his daughters, Danielle Smith, Mindy Chipman (Rhea) and Amy Gaskins (Austin); his grandchildren, Niki Taylor, Reagan, Rylee, Ramsey Claire, Reid and Roe; his mother Byrl Talley Smith; his brothers, T. L. Smith, George Smith, Jeff Smith and Mike Smith; his uncle Robert Smith; and his father Garvin Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
