She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Brooks, Sr. and Nellie Houston Brooks; her former husband Ben Stonecypher, Sr.; her siblings, Herman E. Brooks, James A. Brooks, Jr., Wanda Brooks and Irene Williams; her brother-in-law Norman Stonecypher (Sylvia); and her niece Jamie Reaves.
She is survived by: her husband Stonecypher Catering; her daughter Helen; her son-in-law Eddy Martin of Limestone; her son Ben Jr.; her daughter-in-law Alice Stonecypher of Chuckey; her daughter Becky; her son-in-law Mark Mitchell of Hendersonville, TN; her sisters-in-law, Doris Brooks of Greeneville and Janet Stonecypher of Limestone; her grandchildren, Annette Martin Sexton (Eric) of Greeneville, Daniel Martin of Limestone, April Carter Hamilton (Michael) of Chuckey and Grayson Mitchell of Hendersonville, TN; her great grandchildren, Kayle Sexton of Greeneville, Gabrielle "Gabby" Carter of Chuckey and Tanner Sexton of Greeneville; her niece Heather Stonecypher Hawkins; and her nephews, Ricky Stonecypher, Allen and Joey Brooks.
