He was predeceased by: his parents, Adele Elam and Nelson Elam; and his sister Gayle Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hooten; his children, Lee Kelly of Nashville and Wade Elam, Jr. (Lori) of Nashville; and his grandsons, Ben and John.
