He is survived by: his wife Elena Galea; his children, Simina Anca, Diana Mesaros (Paul), Andrew Galea, Timothy Galea, Dennis Galea and Michael Galea; and his siblings, Lidia Manea, Mariana Opris, Estera Borduz, Valerica Groza, Veronica Zamfir, Ioan Galea, Ana Mutu and Lucia Bogdan.
