He is survived by: his wife Melita "Booger" Alexander; his children, Jessica Winters (Joshua), Toni Alexander, Vernon "Bubba" Alexander III and Katie Waynick (Joseph); his mother Peggy Begley; and his siblings, Vanita Hindsley (Troy) and John Haney. He is also survived by his five granddaughters.
