He is survived by: his wife Marcy Benefield Cash; his sister Joann Cash Yates; his son Mark Alan Cash (Shelbi); his granddaughter Cara Cash; and his great grandchildren, Chira Cash and Cameryn Cash. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside (104 Sanders Ferry Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).

“Tommy was a good friend for over 30 years. He helped me tremendously when I was early in the program as well as many others. He will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.”

“My condolences to Marcy, Mark, Shelbi and all of Tommy's family and the many friends who loved him. My late husband (Larry Fullam) and I, knew Tommy through the music business. I worked many shows with Tommy. and Larry wasTommy's bass player, harmony singer and featured singer for two and a half years in the late 1970s. We stayed friends all through the years. Larry died in 2015, and I will never forget how kind Tommy and Marcy were to me.”
