He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sumners; his children, Tyler Sumners (Ashley), Paige Sumners and Brian Payne; his grandchildren, Jaycee Sumners and Rosita Payne; his brothers, Ralph Sumners and Barry Sumners (Carol); and his sister-in-law Donna Sumners. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
