She was predeceased by: her parents, Sellus Bolden Wynne and Jennie Lorena Brizendine Wynne; her husband John William Coombs; and her son John Wynne Coombs. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn S. Taylor (Fitz-William); and her daughter-in-law Linda. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
